super late post but better than never!
went to the science centre & body world exhibition
mm comments bout the body world; you can put your money to better use. seriously if you’ve been through primary school and have common sense, you’d pretty much know the stuff that they’re exhibiting. nothing captivating. media’s totally overrating it, prolly because of the effort & money spent making the models in exhibition but anyway i’d rather visit art galleries.
pictures weren’t allowed in body world (obviously they wouldn’t want people to see pictures how boring it really is and then change their mind against going LOL)
so other than that, the science centre looks pretty much the way it was when i was there (THE LAST TIME I WENT WAS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL???? LOL)

drove to expo for the food fair & mph warehouse sale :D

so i bought 5 books from the fair for $30 :D
call me weird but i’d spray with disinfectant before reading.

then at the food fair my dad bought his curry stuff while i bought my nata de coco (5 packets for $5) and 9 packets of soy dessert thingies for $5.
i’m so in love with lychee flavored anything.
bought my fav greensfield choco malt drink too :D it’s my fav choco milk brand by far.

no visuals but the food fair’s really nothing.
don’t bother to go if its too far/troublesome for you because it isn’t something to rave about.
it’s my first time to a food fair so i was kinda expecting more.
but there weren’t that many stalls and not much food stuff that can be bought in bulk and the discounts aren’t apparent.

but glad i went because i found new addictions to NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM omgz but is that a good or a bad thing LOL

okay maybe i’ll go to expo again when i’m not lazy.
i love shopping at “non-shopping-malls” places. okay maybe i’m just sick of shopping in singapore.
that’s why i’m always either shopping online (with HEFTY U.S SHIPPING COSTS) or shopping overseas (AIR TIX COST @#&^@*#)

where i wore so sloppyishly to,
where we were so bored,
where we wandered around and ended up sitting at this bench while waiting for everyone to be done,
where we were eyeing on those boxes of FOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD,
and where we camwhored:

the day,
started off badly with horrible attitude from the maid,
random cold war with my mom in the car to and fro,
received warning letter regarding attendance,
fucked up attitude from maid back home,
ate 5 freaking rice dumplings without even realizing it wasn’t real chicken filling i ate, but vegetarian filling (it tastes so damn REAL!),
okay that was really random LOL
but the day ended with a smile despite all that crap
because…
my dad opened his bag and gave me a bag of kit kat! (from his colleague TO ME!!!!!)
she said because i’m very skinny.
and that made my dad laugh while he said it.
how very cute.

The sleeping beauty

shopping with mom was nice, got myself a skirt, a dress and a button blouse, she got herself a nice blouse too

then nothing else caught my eye so we headed home.

as far as i can remember, i have no memory of my mom cooking anything for the family.
i secretly wish she’d inherited some of my grandmother’s culinary skills.(tho my dad speaks ill of her MSG-loaded dishes) but as long as it tastes good, right!

then my mom fried noodles today (what’s got into her dude)
maybe she’s suddenly been enlightened to show some motherly love (lol)
but she was so unconfident of her cooking and warned everyone before we consume (so unlike her, she’s always brimming with confidence especially in her business suit)

i wanted to just tell her that it will taste good as long as its been prepared by her.
and how much i wanted to taste her ‘orh-ni’ (some yam dessert we had at the wedding dinner that night) that my aunt spoke so highly of.

when will she step foot in the kitchen again?

i felt really really bad.. due to my poor memory, i got mixed up with the buses that go to m.sultan rd.. instead, we hopped onto the bus that leads to zouk. -headbang-
in the end we were late for class.. despite having to grab a cab down..

i still feel really.. really.. awful… ):

anyways. we had an outing to stpi for color studies class. omg i wish our classes were all outdoor. so damn slack.

so my saturday afternoon was spent with my dad and sis at Sizzler’s!
a belated birthday lunch for my sis (:
been so long since we dined together.. glad that we did!

stayed from only 11.30am till 2-ish though..
not as worth it as the previous times that i went, many many rounds!
my dad and sis were full already and stopped and i would feel bad if i continued while they just wait and watch me eat somemore.. didnt wanna gross my dad out with how much food i can eat either :X
plus the toilet was flooded, quite gross, so i didn’t feel like enjoying food there anymore
would love to go again soon :D

well we took a bus there because my mom drove the car.
my dad had to pay by cash because my mom maxed out her supplementary card for their account.
we enjoyed our lunch because it didn’t seem like a missing person anyway. (my mom’s rarely around)

well so after lunch my sis went off first, then my dad and i took a bus back, went to lorong lew lian and bought somemore food back :D

tomorrow he’ll be marketing for steamboat ingredients and we’re gonna have steamboat for dinner (:
no one’s pinning any hope for my mom to be back for dinner, cus we know for sure she won’t.

y’ll must be wondering how much booze i’ve had, or how drunk i’d be by now :P

unlike the past years when i spent my NYE partying, boozing away, getting tipsy/drunk on the very first day of the year,
my NYE this year was totally different =P

i’ve never expected myself to ever spend a NYE like that, but i’d not want to’ve spent my NYE any other way (:

i made this little new year resolution, that i’d not get drunk on the first day of new year

when we past by little india he was like so happy “hahaha u see ah u see ah those ah neh ah this is the time to teach them a lesson no matter how long they wait no cab will stop for them ah! they can shake their head and dance ah neh dance blahblahblah”

ahh then when i got back i was locked out because someone locked the main door. i mean, i don’t bring the keys so i ALWAYS ask my maid NEVER to lock the main door. so i got past my gate but not past the door.
and i spent a friggin hour outside my door with this fellow……

lmao.
then my maid decided to finally pick up her goddamn phone so yup :P
