July 9th, 2010

i’m soo addicted to nasi lemak, that’s my only motivation to go to school in the mornings! (the stall only sells nasi lemak in the mornings)
i usually just buy the nasi lemak rice with chilli at the side and fry my own ingredients at home :D eggs and chicken NOMNOMNOM~
food aside, i don’t like my seat in class at all ): it’s smacked right in the middle of the big classroom and i hate being in the middle. i want my own corner ): i’ve got no motivation to stay in class at all. but whatever. other than tues and fridays i don’t really have to be in school other than signing in and out at 9 and 5 everyday. but bp and i are helping each other to sign in and out :) so we take turns to go to school :) buying food’s the only motivation for me to go to school :S
mom’s out of singapore again. this time’s to hongkong i think? she didn’t even tell me where she went.
whatever.
stayed in bed the entire day today :S
don’t feel too well… gahh.

what i usually cook:

lol doesn’t look appetizing at all righttttt i don’t dare to cook for anyone (don’t wanna disappoint anyone) plus i don’t know if they’re that edible :X
i have to cook a huge pot of noodles every single day :D that’s 1 meal. for maggie mee it’s at least 4 packets. that’s about the amount!
AND I”M CURRENTLY LOVING:

i’ve always loved milo and i can eat the whole “refill” packet by spoon IN A DAY :D
and since ntuc was having promotion for this ($6.95?) i decided to try it AND I”M LOVIN IT!
bought crunch, smarties and kit kat too but milo’s by far my fav amongst them, followed by crunch.
AND THANKS TO RANDY <3 :

I LOVE MEIJI BISCUITS TO THE F*CKING CORE!!!!!!
randy brought back my love for meiji i couldn’t resist buying back 2 huge boxes of meiji
evidence below:

if you can’t locate meiji due to the big mess, it’s at the bottom right
and if you spot the milk powder, i eat it like milo powder by SPOON! :D :D ITS LOVEEEEEEEEEE!
cooking adventure!
October 18th, 2009
omg i feel so accomplished today, i made fish&chips from scratch! Lol.
okay maybe it’s no big deal to you but it is to me! for someone’s used to waiting for a maid to cook all meals from young to someone who’s learning how to cook from the internet! i wish there was someone around to teach me how to cook but i can never communicate with my maid anymore and there’s no one else at home who cooks. (and i think i’m a better cook than her NOW!)
okay so i’ve always been procrastinating making fish&chips from scratch because i found the process too much of a hassle and time-consuming. then one day i realized i have TOO MUCH cheese crackers at home (because i ordered huge tins of biscuits and i’m getting bored of the huge tin of cheese crackers, wanna find more ways to use them instead of just eating with butter/dips)
SO……. google does it all!
step 1. defrost cod fillets
step 2. crush/process cheese crackers until fine
step 3. whisk a few eggs with maybe a pinch of salt
step 4. pour a cup of flour into a ziplock bag.
step 5. wash & pat fish fillets dry
step 6. dump them into the ziplock bag of flour.
step 7. shake the bag until fish’s well coated with flour.
step 8. shake off excess flour from each fillet and dump into whisked eggs. coat them well.
step 9. drip off excess egg-liquid (idk what’s the term lol)
step 10. coat with finely crushed cheese crackers! (eggs help them stick that’s why)
step 11. fry in hot oil in medium heat until golden brown
NOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM i can’t wait to fry again. lol
OHHHH another cooking adventure i had was chicken chop!
i marinated the chicken with orange marmalade jam, salt, soya sauce, dark soya sauce. lol how awesome i made chicken chop NOM NOM NOM.
i feel so accomplished because there was no one to guide me in the kitchen and i managed to cook up a feast.
yay i can’t wait for more cooking adventure.
wanna experiment more ways of cooking eggs. i’ve been cooking steam egg custard and scrambled eggs on a daily basis and i made french toast (i used to think it’d be difficult but omg just dip the damn bread into egg mixture and fry? goodness!) and i re-fried leftover carrot cake with MORE EGGS!
omg don’t you just love food!

i only cooked the scrambled eggs, the beehoon was leftover tahpao-ed.
