The Asian Food Channel has hit more than half a million Facebook Fans! To celebrate this momentous occasion, supportive fans were invited to the ‘AFC Foodies Appreciation Party!’ held at the AFC Studio, Orchard Central, in two separate sessions, 3 April and 5 April 2012, to accommodate more participants.


Cranberry Scones were served while waiting the arrival of the guests.

“Break as many plates as you can in 20 secs” is an Ipad game where the fastest finger (we were only allowed to use one finger!) wins attractive prizes.

Masterclass by AFC Resident Chef

The exciting line-up includes a masterclass by AFC Resident Chef, Pastry Chef Wendy, who specialises in dessert.

She demonstrates one of her favourite desserts, the Chocolate and Cream Trifle.

Audiences get a chance to participate in the lively demonstration, under the supervision of Chef Wendy.

And the final product:

After the demonstration, it was time to fill our growling tummies with a wide array of finger foods and desserts, thoughtfully prepared by the AFC team.

The event winds up with a lucky draw, where lucky winners landed with the new generation iPads, some lugged home espresso coffee machines, some walked away with $50 and $20 AFC merchandise vouchers.
