One of the highlights of the birthday bash has to be the birthday cake; it is a limited edition Dark Chocolate Espresso Gateau, specially created for the celebration through an exclusive collaboration with home-grown cake shop, Awfully Chocolate.

Usually, I’m not a huge fan of coffee desserts, but this coffee chocolate cake is stellar. Each layer of cake, sliced ever so thinly, is piled on with alternate layers of rich intense chocolate fudge, before topping it off with the luscious espresso mousse that isn’t overpoweringly bitter, and concealed in a decadent chocolaty goodness.
From 1 to 30 September, with the purchase of any one NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® System, they are giving a free bubble capsules holder worth $20 at the point of purchase.
Delectable nibbles were served throughout the event, showcasing some of Loola’s specialty desserts and dainty canapés.
