The opening of MAGNUM SINGAPORE Pleasure Store and the launch of Magnum Pink & Black

On 27 July 2013, invited media and guests witnessed the opening of MAGNUM SINGAPORE Pleasure Store at Clarke Quay’s Central Fountain Square, which also coincided with the launch of the new Magnum Pink and Magnum Black.

A huge hit across the globe, the Magnum Pleasure Store has finally hit our shores. The key and central element to all Magnum Pleasure Stores is the experience of designing one’s very own Magnum.

Starting with an uncoated vanilla Magnum, pleasure seekers follow through a few simple steps to complete their own personalised Magnum.

You can choose 3 toppings from an extensive array, including almond flakes, caramel chips, chocolate crunchies, chocolate hearts, coffee dusting, dried cranberries, macadamia chips, pistachio chips, rice puffs, sunflower seeds, dried mixed flowers, gold flakes, golden nuggets, wolfberries, rose petals, chilli flakes, popping candy and sea salt.

For myself, I chose a white chocolate coating, and caramel chips, golden nuggets and rose petals for my toppings, finished off with a drizzle of dark chocolate.

I’m a hundred and one per cent satisfied with my creation! The rose petals lend a subtle floral scent to complement the saccharine sweetness of white chocolate, while the caramel chips and golden nuggets provide delightful crunchy textures.

The Magnum Pleasure Store will also be serving up a selection of thoughtfully crafted Magnum desserts and Magnum-inspired cocktails long into the night.


A Midsummer’s Night Dream ($18)

“A Midsummer’s Night Dream” is a composition of edible flowers, assorted fizzy berries, white chocolate sheet and an unadulterated Magnum.


The Carla Bruni ($14)

The Carla Bruni comprises a warm upside-down caramelised apple tart, applesauce and a Magnum.


Vincent Van Gogh ($17)

A personal favourite, the Vincent Van Gogh consists of Honeycomb, assorted berries, raspberry coulis, lemon curd, sponge finger, chocolate sauce and a Magnum.

The MAGNUM SINGAPORE Pleasure Store will be roving around Singapore, with the first stop at Clarke QUay Central Fountain from 27th July to 26th August 2013 and will be open daily from 12pm to 11pm.

Magnum Pink and Magnum Black

An addition to the range of irresistible Magnum ice cream, the Magnum Pink and Magnum Black is two contrasting, sophisticated and stylish ice creams designed to reflect the different sides of our personalities.

Magnum Gold has always been my all-time favourite –until Magnum Pink came along. Now I’m torn between!

Pleasure seekers who’re feeling cheeky, fun, flirty or plain romantic can simply reach for a Magnum Pink. Beneath the pink shimmery layer of crackling Magnum Chocolate is an alluring pinkish Marc de Champagne ice cream.

The Magnum Black provokes the sophisticated and more refined side of you. Intense black espresso coffee is swirled in a smooth, creamy vanilla ice cream, and covered in the signature thick layer of crackling dark Magnum chocolate.

The Magnum Pink & Black are available in all major supermarkets and convenience stores from 1 August 2013 at a recommended retail price of $3.90 (stick) and $10.90 (multipack of 3 sticks).
