Eyebrow Embroidery experience at Allure Beauty

Allure Beauty’s latest outlet at City Square Mall marks its 3rd outlet to date, boasting a more luxurious and elegant feel. Its 1,345 square feet space encompasses ten luxurious bed couches in a spa-like ambience.

Allure Beauty specialises in eyebrow embroidery.

Ms Angela Tnee, founder of Allure Beauty, believes that a person’s looks can only be transformed instantly with the correct shape of the eyebrows without the need of invasive surgical procedures.

Eyebrows are very important facial features, as they provide a natural frame for the face. The state of one’s eyebrows can engender a major impact on one’s appearance.

The Golden Ratio was widely used by renowned artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci and architects to achieve proportional perfection in their masterpieces. Allure Beauty is the first and only beauty salon in Singapore that incorporates the Golden Ratio technique in their mastery of eyebrow embroidery.

No one’s facial features are identical. To map out your Golden Ratio, the Brow Experts at Allure Beauty uses the starting and ending points of the brows as a guide, before the meticulous calculation commences. The face is then sectioned into thirds –the first section begins from the top of the forehead to the top of the eyebrows, the second section begins from the top of the eyebrows to the bottom of the nose, and the final section begins from the top of the ‘cupid’s bow’ and ends at the bottom of the chin. The experts will work on these measurements to come up with a personalised set of brows for each individual.

The beauty experts will trim and draw the shape of the eyebrow according to their calculations and revise till they are satisfied, before proceeding to the treatment room for the embroidery.

Numbing cream is applied on the eyebrows 30 minutes prior to the treatment so you won’t feel any unbearable discomfort during the session.

There are 5 different types of eyebrow treatments available, one of which is the Allure Signature Eyebrow Embroidery that I did. It is developed by Angela and performed by professional qualified therapists at Allure Beauty, incorporating Angela’s artistry of over 14 years of professional training and experience. You’ll get an ideal eyebrow arch with natural-looking eyebrow strokes.

I would say the pain level is at 1 or 2, totally tolerable. To best describe how it feels on the skin, it’s akin to someone scratching your brows lightly with a ruler.

Taken right after the treatment.

Eyebrow embroidery is most beneficial to those with sparse eyebrows, but for those who own a luscious set of brows who wish to enhance their facial features further can also benefit from this technique.

I took some time to get used to my brows, as I’ve never seen it so neat in a long time! The brows will look darker and less natural in the first few days, but eventually it fades to a more natural and lighter shade.

Here’s a ‘Before’ photo of my eyebrows:

Here are the ‘After’ photos:

How much the embroidery fades depends largely on how well you take care of your brows. The prime period is within the first week from the moment you leave the treatment room. Your brows are not allowed to come into contact with water, and you have to apply the gel provided diligently for the entire week, two to three times a day.

Eyebrow embroidery is not permanent, but it lasts for about 2 years, depending on individual situations. Having a set of long-lasting sculpted eyebrows allows me to groom them easily by just trimming off the excess hair when it grows out –and the best part is, the ideal shape of the brow is still retained.
