Prosperity Pony ($22)
Taking the shape of this year’s zodiac animal, the Prosperity Pony is made up of a vanilla Chantilly cream cake – layers of light sponge cake and faintly sweetened whipped cream – scattered with cubes of fruit cocktail within.
This cake panders to those with a light palate who are equally fond of cream and fruits.
Burst of Spring ($16.80)
The Burst of Spring is a slightly sweeter option. Adding brilliant bright colours to the baby-pink Chantilly cream cake are fondant decorations resembling mini Mandarin oranges and a Chinese good fortune scroll.
The liberal scattering of fruit cocktail adds refreshing bursts to every bite.
