Soup of the day – We had a Wintermelon Soup with Chicken and Pork
My friend and I enjoyed this soup! Homely, nourishing and most importantly, TASTY!

Deepfried ToFu- It is nothing spectacular; a dish you can find almost everywhere! BUT it is highly irresistible! At least, for me, because I love anything that is deep-fried and melts-in-the-mouth. This dish makes the cut.

Deepfried Shrimp Dumplings- Bite into the crispy golden brown skin to find prawns that are crunchy, succulent and fresh. Paired with a sweet sauce, this dish is yummy, but not memorable.

XO Carrot Cake- I loved this dish a lot! Well, I love carrot cakes in general. Their rendition didn’t suck; I could even finish a second serving if it was placed in front of me. Flavorful and tasty describes this dish. I have nothing to complain except the portion size may not be enough since its so delicious :)

I can’t remember the exact name of this dish, but it consists of beancurd (Tau Pok) and eggs. The braising sauce is overly salty, I certainly wouldn’t recommend this dish especially to those who’re watching their sodium intake. Personally, I’ve never liked Tau Pok, and there’s nothing impressive about this dish at all.

Seafood thick soup- I enjoyed this soup! I love thick soups, its getting personal here!

$5.80 for one Xiao Long Bao seems exorbitant, although they mentioned the use of crab meat in the fillings. I’m no fan of crabs so that idea wouldn’t sell to me BUT xiao long baos are my weakness regardless of the fillings. I enjoyed this :)

The bill came up to $130 which wasn’t exactly cheap for 2 of us.
Would I return? Maybe. If I have a huge craving for Hong Kong cuisine, and if I have too much money to spare, since I live pretty near by.
