Bountiful Flavours of Kochi & Kagawa

Available from now till 4 March for dinner buffet only, Triple Three brings to you flavours of the Kochi and Kagawa, with dishes made from ingredients that are specially sourced and imported from the island of Shikoku.

Yuzu is a common production in Kochi, a highly prized ingredient that adds depth of tantalising flavours with its refreshing citrusy taste. In this buffet spread, you can find dishes incorporated with Yuzu from the savoury dishes to the desserts.

Kawaga is known as the Udon Kingdom, owing to its abundance of wheat and salt, and its mild climate. Triple Three flies in award-winning Udon Master Chef Shoichi Mori where he will demonstrate the making of the hand-made noodles and cooks it on the spot for you at the live cooking station.

The Nabana (Canola Flower) is so addictive, even for a non-veggie eater like me. It’s similar to broccoli, but with a longer stem; it is soft on the inside with a delicious crispy batter.

Katsuo Tataki (bonito fillet and salad)
Katsuo bonito fillet, daikon, cucumber, oba leaf, garlic, ginger bud, tataki soy sauce


I love the lightly seared bonito fillet, dressed with the tataki soy sauce! While everyone was queuing for the sashimi, I indulged in these.

The Creamy Croquettes are highly addictive. Like it’s name, its creamy on the inside, golden crispy on the outside.

The lobster is so good. Its succulent meat pairs beautifully with the creamy sauce and it is baked to perfection.

Japanese Cheesecake

The main ingredients of the Japanese Cheesecake are cream cheese, Yuzu juice and Yuzu zest. It isn’t too rich. I love it!


The ice cream flavours in the buffet spread are Japanese-inspired; flavours such as Green Tea, Red Bean, Yuzu and Black Sesame are available. The black sesame and green tea are my top picks!

The verdict:
This being my first time at Triple Three, I am totally impressed by the live cooking stations and the lavish spread. The freshness of ingredients and well-executed dishes won me over. I would definitely recommend it to all Japanese cuisine and buffet lovers!
