Decked in shimmering silver, white and blue, a snowing backdrop is not requisite for diners to feel the Christmas vibe at Plaza Brasserie. Whistles and party blowers are provided at your table for a fun-filled dining experience! Santa Clause will also be making his rounds on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to distribute goodies to children dining there.

This year, the hotel introduces Pork Knuckles served in Asian inspired Spicy Sauce and Red Wine Sauce, alongside traditional Roasted Turkey, Honey Baked Ham with Pineapple and Cranberry Sauce and Meat Loaf served as part of the festive treats.

The succulent Pork Knuckle is a must try.

The Honey Baked Ham is also available for takeaway!

Takeaway gourmet treats – such as the Honey Baked Ham ($78 for 1.5kg) and the Traditional Turkey ($108 for 4kg) – are available from 15 December 2012 to 1 January 2013. Orders must be made 3 working days in advance.

Whole Baked Salmon

What caught my eye was this huge salmon, which I couldn’t wait to devour! It turned out to be perfectly moist, and especially enjoyable with the various sauces provided.

Bringing lots of colours and joy to the spread is their sweet Christmas treats, which include Christmas Cookies, Ginger Bread and Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce.

Christmas Fruit Cake

The Christmas Fruit Cake is a personal favourite. I’d usually pick the raisins out of any fruitcakes I have in front of me, but this incredibly moist and yummy cake won me over. I sooo wanted to get a second slice, or even bring the entire cake home!

Apart from the festive offerings, diners will still get to enjoy Plaza Brasserie’s expansive range of international delights in the buffet spread.

Regulars who patronise Plaza Brasserie for the varied-flavoured Roti Pratas will not leave disappointed. That goes the same for ardent fans of the Crispy Soft Shell Crab!

The Roasted Pork is also a must-have.

The Oyster Omelette totally caught me off guard. Way exceeding my expectations, because hotel buffets rarely manage to attain the hawkers’ standards of hawker fare, Plaza Brasserie managed to an Oyster Omelette dish that reminds me so much of my favourite hawker’s rendition –great job!

I heard Christmas Eve and Christmas Day’s service is fully booked! Do make reservations in advance to avoid disappointment.
