Ramen Keisuke’s 4th Ramen Store in Singapore: Tonkotsu King Four Seasons

Smacked right in the hustle and bustle of the Bugis precinct is Ramen Keisuke’s 4th ramen store in Singapore –Tonkotsu King Four Seasons. Since its debut at Orchid Hotel last year, its immense popularity has led to the opening of two outlets shortly after to cope with high demand.

Chef-owner Mr Keisuke Takeda is one of Japan’s most highly praised celebrity ramen chef, affectionately known as the “Ramen Revolutionist”. His exceptional culinary flair that infuses innovative concepts into the traditional Japanese staple has earned him countless accolades and a strong fan following in both Japan and Singapore.

This 56-seater restaurant located at Singapore’s Bugis Village features an exclusive menu that’s inspired by the four beautiful climatic seasons in Japan: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

Always passionate about pushing the boundaries about ramen dining and staying true to his vision of presenting different ramen concepts through each restaurant under his belt in Japan and Singapore, the bar is raised once again with the launch of this menu.

Combining his vast experience in Japanese and French cooking methodologies, his winning formulae lies in the flavourful and aromatic broth.

Each ramen creation – spring, autumn, summer and winter – is presented in their own ornately matching bowl.


Tonkotsu Ramen Winter ($10.90/$12.90 with flavoured egg/$14.90 with all toppings)

Traditionalists who daren’t venture into the more unorthodox flavours can order the simple but sublime Tonkotsu Ramen Winter, steeped in a rich pork broth.


Tonkotsu Ramen Autumn ($12.90/$14.90 with flavoured egg/$16.90 with all toppings)

Mushroom lovers can go for the Tonkotsu Ramen Autumn, which stars three varieties of mushrooms and minced pork flavoured with bonitos. The mushrooms in this dish reflect the way Japanese celebrate autumn traditionally, where mushrooms are in abundance during that season.


Tonkotsu Ramen Summer ($13.90/$15.90 with flavoured egg/$17.90 with all toppings)

Spice lovers, you may go for the Tonkotsu Ramen Summer, which comes with a special blend of spicy meat, miso, Sichuan pepper and Cayenne pepper. This dish is served in a bowl printed with a fireworks illustration to depict the summer’s heat.


Tonkotsu Ramen Spring ($11.90/$13.90 with flavoured egg/$15.90 with all toppings)

The Tonkotsu Ramen Spring is a personal favourite, and is also one of their most unique creations combining Western and Asian influences. Served in a bowl adorning cherry blossom prints, the green from basil and yellow from cheese evoke the colours of spring. The aroma of basil and creaminess of cheese will bring endless glee to the palate.


Tonkotsu Ramen King ($13.90/$15.90 with flavoured egg/$17.90 with all toppings)

The Tonkotsu Ramen King is another highlight. Generously topped with tender slivers of stir-fried pork accented with ginger, this hearty bowl of ramen boast intense flavour chaperoning an alluring fragrance.

The order chit allows you to customise your bowl of ramen, adding and omitting ingredients to your liking. Diners can also adjust the richness of soup, opt for a healthier version containing less oil, and choose your preferred texture of noodle.

Devoted to providing high customer satisfaction, free marinated bean sprouts and hard boiled eggs are placed on diners’ tables upon order.
