This Mid-Autumn Festival, Regent Singapore presents the best of both worlds – the award-winning Chinese culinary masters from Summer Palace and the team of ingenious Italian chefs from Basilico – hence the birth of six new inventive snowskin flavours.

Adding a touch of luxury to the celebration, the elegant gift box – decked out in golden graphic patterns, and embellished with velvet-textured cut-out motifs illustrating silhouettes of phoenix, floral and fauna, and butterflies – heralds the joy of family reunions as well as the abundance and renewal of the harvest season.


Il Dolcetto ($59+ for 8 pcs)

New to the medley of handcrafted mini snowskin mooncakes, the Il Dolcetto by Executive Sous Chef Angelo Ciccone showcases the finest of Italy in the coffee and chocolate department. The aromatic fragrance of roasted illy coffee beans further enhances the subtle sweetness of the premium Amedei chocolate centre. This is a must-try!


Very Berry ($54+ for 8 pcs)

High in antioxidants, the snowskin of Very Berry embodies healthy goodness with the handpicked Mountain Berry tea leaves – a melange of superfood Saskatoon berries, red and black currants, raisins and wild blueberries. Swathed in this delicate tea-infused snowskin is a healthy fresh blueberry paste with melon seeds. This mooncake will gain instant popularity especially with the kids.

The Granny Smith with Lemongrass Chocolate ($54+ for 8 pcs) is one of my favourites. Drawing inspiration from spa cuisine, this fruity creation by Executive Chef Simone Cerea combines fresh Granny Smith apple puree with the rich perfume of lemongrass-infused white chocolate.


Pearl Milk Tea Crunch ($54+ for 8 pcs)

The Pearl Milk Tea Crunch is the brainchild of the chefs from Summer Palace. Putting a playful twist on bubble tea, top-grade Jasmine tea is incorporated into the velvety smooth lotus paste that’s interspersed with Amedei chocolate pearls for crunch.


Green Tea with Melon Seeds ($54+ for 8pcs)

Not to be missed as well are their signature snowskin favourites, including the Green Tea with Melon Seeds, Durian, Signature Black Sesame Paste ($54+ for 8pcs) and White Lotus Paste with Yolk and Melon Seeds ($54+ for 8pcs).

The Green Tea with Melon Seeds boasts an intense matcha flavour in the filling, without being excessively sweet or dense. I would totally reach for another one of this.

The Durian Mini Snowskin Mooncake ($59+ for 8 pcs) clinches the title of ‘best-seller’, and it’s hard to see why not. A soft thin layer of snowskin encases thick smooth pulp of premium durian –only the most ardent fans of durians have a knack in sniffing out the good stuff.
