Conrad Centennial Singapore’s signature teddy bear dons a Christmas outfit this festive season, as the hotel celebrates with a tempting array of goodies, savouries and desserts, as well as holiday feasts at its F&B outlets –Oscar’s, The Terrace, Lobby Lounge and Golden Peony.

Early celebrations begin from 29 November through 23 December 2013 at Oscar’s. Enjoy the festive buffet lunch (12pm to 2.30pm) at $58++ per person from Monday to Saturday, or dinner (6pm to 10pm) at $66++ per person from Sunday to Thursday, $80++ per person from Friday to Saturday. The Sunday Amazing Graze Lunch, available from 12pm to 3pm, is priced at $80++ per person (food only) or $158++ per person that includes free flow of Laurent Perrier Champagne, house pour wines and beer.

The girls from the recent Sydney trip and I gathered last week for mini catch-up session at Oscar’s, just in good time for the festive buffet spread. The restaurant is packed and bustling with crowd, conspicuously a popular dining choice for corporate festive celebrations.

Let the feast begin, with some healthy salads!

As for mains, there’s a variety of chicken, fish, pasta and more, all punctiliously executed to satisfy the crowd.

Those hankering for Asian food will not feel left out. Look over at the section where claypots are filled with piping hot Asian delights. The spinach-layered bean curd is a must-have!

Do not miss out on the live noodle section stationed outdoors, for the wanton noodle soup is deeply comforting as is the prawn noodle soup.

The waffle is a crowd-pleaser. Grab them when they’re fresh out of the waffle iron; they’re crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

The Chocolate Royal Hazelnut Crunch steals the limelight in the dessert section. The rich chocolate cake and the delightful crunch at the bottom stole my heart at first bite.

On 24 December 2013, the Christmas Eve Lunch at Oscar’s is available from 12pm to 2.30pm, and priced at $60++ per person. Spend your evening indulging in the Christmas Eve Extravaganza, from 6pm to 10.30pm, at $198++ per person with free flow champagne, house pour wines and beer, or $128++ per person with soft drinks. Children of 6 to 12 years pay $64++, and children 3 to 5 years pay $25++.

Another option would be the Festive High Tea at the Lobby Lounge, available from 1pm to 5pm, and priced $59++ per person.

On Christmas Day, 25 December 2013, feast on the Festive Holiday Spread at Oscar’s. Lunch is available from 12pm to 3pm, priced at $198++ per person with free flow champagne, house pour wines and beer, or $128++ per person with soft drinks, and $64++ per child (6 to 12 years) or $25++ per child (3 to 5 years). Dinner is available from 6pm to 10pm, priced at $158++ per person with free flow sparkling wine, or $92++ per person (food only), and $45++ per child (6 to 12 years) or $20++ per child (3 to 5 years), which will include Santa’s signature gift.

Feel the spirit of the holidays with the annual Christmas Carols at the lobby of Conrad Centennial Singapore, where guests can join in the merriment and sing along to popular Christmas songs with the National University of Singapore Choir Group on the following dates: 21 December 2013, 7.30pm to 8.15pm, 24 December 2013, 7.30pm to 8.15pm and 25 December 2013, 12.30pm to 1.15pm.
