Singapore Chilli Crab
Calling the attention of seafood lovers! Every Friday and Saturday night from July to September 2014, “SeafoodFest” meets International Buffet at The Square restaurant of Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay.
Work your way from the Seafood on Ice section that features white clams, tiger prawns, baby lobsters and plump juicy oysters.
Worth mentioning: the hotel has gone the extra mile to source for sustainable seafood. Currently, prawns and oysters come from suppliers that are MSC-certified.
Over at the hot dishes section, pan-seared barramundi with anise sauce, traditional Spanish seafood paella, sea bass with tomato & herb salsa are just some names that will tickle your fancy.
Salted Egg Yolk Crab
The Salted Egg Yolk Crab comes with another dimension of fragrance with the addition of dried shrimps. Finger-licking good!
Local flavours bring the spotlight on dishes like the crabmeat fried rice, Singapore chilli crab and oyster omelette.

The Friday and Saturday crowd get to enjoy the best of both worlds: SeafoodFest plus the regular Asian and International delights. Meat lovers, go straight to the baked beef striploin station. The international spread also includes salads, sashimi, roasted meats, cold cuts, and more.
If you’re filled to the brim and can only take one dessert, (provided you have zero aversion to the smell of durian), the durian pengat is a MUST MUST MUST MUST TRY. Made from D24 durian flesh and gula Melaka, this cold, thick, smooth, creamy and luscious glob will leave you craving for more and more. Here’s one of the top 3 durian pengats in Singapore.
The “SeafoodFest” promotion at The Square restaurant is available every Friday and Saturday evening from 6pm to 9.30pm, priced at $68++ per person and $40++ per child under 12.
