Tony’s Pizza is a casual pizzeria serving up the true New York style pizza, with its flagship outlet at the junction of River Valley and Zion Road, a short walk from Great World City shopping mall. Its recent expansion sees its second outlet at Bugis Junction.
The pizzeria features many furnishings and memorabilia from New York, truly bringing a slice of New York to Singapore. Pizza lovers can choose to dine-in or takeaway.

Those with unusually huge appetites or those who can eat at an incredibly high speed, The Monster Pizza Challenge will give you an opportunity to test your limits. Having done several food challenges previously (such as burgers, dim sum, buffalo wings, and more) I was eager to sink my teeth into pizza this time round.
The challenge is: finish the 18” Monster Pizza in 25 minutes and it will be on the house. On top of that, you will walk away with a SGD50 dining voucher, a limited edition Tony’s Pizza Monster Tee, and a spot up the Wall of Victors. You can actually team up with a buddy to complete this challenge in 12 minutes, which is absolutely easier!
Unfortunately at the rate I was going, I didn’t manage to finish the pizza within 25 minutes.
This was what was left at the 25-minutes mark: about two slices of pizzas and some toppings. To complete the challenge, you probably have to inhale the food, with not much time for chewing, much less any time for savouring and appreciating it. Go try it!
If you’re not there for the pizza challenge, the pizza is worth trying, available in slices or a whole. Tony’s Pizza works closely with Tony Varvara, owner of Elegante Pizzeria in Brooklyn, New York, who is also the inspiration behind the concept in Singapore. Tony’s Pizza’s Executive Chef Elvin Chew learnt the ropes from Tony himself, before returning to Singapore with the skillset. The thin and foldable yet doughy crust is traditionally hand-tossed by in-house Pizza Artists. With over 10 different types of toppings, pizzas are loaded with chunky tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. You can even customise your own pizza. Sides include Buffalo Wings with different degrees of spiciness to choose from. Complement the meal with the thirst quenching Lemonade freshly made in-house.
