He is neither hunky nor handsome, but his humorous music video “Gangnam Style” is now the most-watched video ever on YouTube, with more almost a billion views since it was first uploaded four months ago.
He is Park Jae-sang, better known as Psy; he is a South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer and record producer in his mid-thirties, who has been in the music industry for 12 years.
On 1st December 2012, PSY performed for the first time in Singapore at a special Marina Bay Sands “Give back to Singapore” public showcase at the Event Plaza, where four thousand fans danced along to his hit song “Gangnam Style”. All complimentary tickets for the public were snapped up within two hours.

“Usually K-pop is known as some boyband or girlband, and most of them are really skinny. I’m not really skinny. Honestly, I’m really proud to get big fame all over the world with this body. Do I have any plans for a six-pack? I’ve travelled 8 countries the last 3 weeks, schedule was really tight and crazy, but the thing is I never lose the weight. I don’t know why. This is the way my body is, so the six-pack is not going to happen forever,” Psy responded at a press conference held at the ArtScience Museum.
With that, I think he makes a great role model to those struggling with weight issues. Chubby is adorable!

Psy would be returning to Singapore in March after the release of his new album. Looking forward to it!
