Plaza Brasserie – known for their smorgasbord of local, continental and Asian cuisine – is having a two-month long promotion, Seafood Galore, from 1 May to 30 June.
Since Mother’s Day and Father’s Day fall within the months of May and June, it is a great reason to treat your parents to sumptuous feast at Plaza Brasserie.
Apart from the sashimi selection, live laksa cooking station and roast meats, the Seafood Galore promotion will deliver a splendid spread of the freshest catch.
Fish items are available from Mondays to Thursdays.
Chefs will whip up a dish out according to your preference –pair your selection of fresh fish with a preferred sauce.

Steamed Sea Bass Hong Kong Style
To start off with something light on the palate, you can order the Steamed Sea Bass Hong Kong Style.
Fresh, tender and moist sea bass swim to table in a clean tasting sauce.
These dishes are prepared a-la-minute to ensure pristine quality, and will be served to your table straight from the kitchen.
Braised Fish Head in Clay Pot with Yam
The Braised Fish Head in Clay Pot with Yam is a highlight. Big chunks of fish, steeped in a tempting sauce, arrive brimming with yam, button mushrooms and other ingredients, perfectly proportioned.
I love yam, so does my mum. I reckon she will adore this dish as much as I did.
Sweet & Sour Black Promfret
The Sweet & Sour Black Promfret is another personal favourite, second to the Braised Fish Head with Yam.
Crispy skin encompassing tender fish is splashed with a vivid sweet and sour sauce that will leave you wanting more.
Indian Style Fish Head Curry
Fish Head Curry in a buffet? Wow, there you have it. Served in a clay pot to retain heat and to keep the contents warm, the fish remain moist and tender, well infused with flavours from the aromatic curry.
The curry is so addictive I was tempted to drink it like soup. Soak up that lip-smacking curry with roti prata obtainable at the buffet station.
The roti prata station piqued my interest. Roti prata is available in a variety of flavours: plain, egg, onion, ham, cheese, chicken sausage, banana, DURIAN and the highly favoured chocolate prata.
I’m slightly more conventional in this pairing; plain or egg prata dipped in fish head curry, perfecto.
I shall have Chocolate Prata for dessert.

From Fridays to Sundays, indulge in their ‘Crustacean Selections’, ranging from bamboo clams to juicy crabs, prepared a-la-minute in your favourite sauce.

The Cereal Oat Prawns is another highlight. The cereal oat emerges golden brown, addictively crunchy, delightfully fragrant and tasty with the expert use of aromatics.
Highlights of the Buffet Spread
Two signature dishes that are available 365 days a year are the Soft Shell Crab with Tobiko Mayo and the Braised Sea Cucumber with Roast Pork and Mushrooms.

The response is so overwhelming that Plaza Brasserie decided to make this dish available all year round.
Last but not least, you can look forward to an array of sweet treats – ranging from Chocolate Mousse, Mango Pudding, Vanilla Panna Cotta, to the traditional local desserts of Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts, Bubor Cha Cha, Tau Suan, Almond Beancurd, Chin Chow and more – to end the meal with.
The chocolate cake is a must-have dessert for those with a sweet tooth.
