Resorts World Sentosa will be presenting a slew of festive offerings at two of its dining destinations favoured for Chinese cuisine: Feng Shui Inn and Forest森.

Over at the grand and admirable Feng Shui Inn, Chef Li Kwok Kwong has given the customary Yu Sheng a stunning makeover.

This new majestic creation, fit for a king, is painstakingly plated to form the shape of a horse, symbolising ‘galloping towards a bright future’, accompanied by a garden of refreshing flavours, encompassing fresh salmon cubes, crispy-skinned mackerel and silver fish as well as strips of bak kwa. The ingredients are then drizzled with a choice of Italian balsamic vinegar or mint dressing for an invigorating touch.

For a fruity vegetarian version, try the Mixed fruits and Water Chestunts ‘Lo Hei ($38 for 3-6 pax/$68 for 7-10 pax) that comes with mango slices, honeydew, dragonfruit, rose apples and a generous portion of water chestnuts drizzled with homemade strawberry sauce.


Sautéed Grouper Fillet with Fish Roe

Palatial dishes such as the Braised Supreme Imperial bird’s Nest with Abalone Sauce and Organic Shredded Potato and the Sautéed Grouper Fillet topped with Fish Roe and Asparagus Shoots are available as a la carte dishes or part of a luxurious 8-course spread, starting from $1119++ for a table of 6 persons to $1688++ for a table of 10 persons.

The Braised New Year 8 Treasures Pen Cai, brimming with extravagant ingredients, is nothing short of spectacular.

Homemade Golden Ingot Pineapple Pastry with 8 Mini Ingots ($88 per box)

Feng Shui Inn’s festive takeaway goodies and hamper set are great gifts for the ones who deserve high respect. What will most impress is the mega-size edible golden ingot that enchases 8 mini ingots, which are essentially buttery pastry filled with fibrous pineapple paste.

Two 5-course reunion set lunch menus are available during the festive period, priced from $68++ to $88++ per person. Dishes include Double Boiled Pork Shank Soup with Snow Fungus, Conpoy and Chinese Herbs, Japanese Fragrant Rice with XO Sausages and Pan-Seared Foie Gras served in Steamed Yellow Pumpkin, and Braised Four Treasures Soup filled with Fish Maw, Sea Cucumber, Crabmeat and Conpoy. All set lunch menus include the Salmon Fruit Vegetables Yu Sheng.


Baked Japanese Pearl Rice with Seafood and Cheese served in Young Coconut

Three 6-course set dinner menus are also available, priced from $178++ per person to $388++ per person. Highlights include Drunken Canadian Geoduck Clam, Braised Superlative Imperial Bird’s Nest with Crabmeat and Crab Roe, Braised Sea Treasure (6 head abalone, sea cucumber, fish maw, dried oyster, bailing mushroom, bean gluten, conpoy and black moss), and Steamed Marble Goby and Jamon Serrano Ham with Chinese Wine.
