McDonald’s Hello Kitty McDonaldland plush toys available islandwide!

Remember them?

The last time we saw Hello Kitty in McDonald’s (in 2000), the campaign – featuring Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel dressed in wedding attires of different cultures – created a mass hysteria amongst Hello Kitty lovers throughout the nation.

I was one of those little girls who made their daddies queue up for them.

The campaign even grasped the attention of opportunists who resold the collectible plushies at high prices.

After 12 long years, Hello Kitty plushies are finally returning to McDonald’s.

In partnership with Sanrio, McDonald’s introduces its first ever McDonaldland Hello Kitty plush toys featuring a series of four Hello Kitty characters each decked out in costumes inspired by McDonaldlanad characters:

Hamburglar Hello Kitty is available from 17 May to 23 May.

Grimace Hello Kitty is available from 24 May to 30 May.

Birdie Hello Kitty is available from 31 May to 6 June.

Ronald Hello Kitty is available from 7 June to 13 June.

15 lucky Omy.sg bloggers had a sneak preview of the plushies before they were officially launched.

Hello Kitty lovers unite! Look how pretty their iPhone cases are.

And because we are such enthusiastic fans of Hello Kitty, McDonald’s awarded us with one kitty each!

I fell in love with Grimace at first sight! It was such a difficult decision to pick one out of the 4 adorable plushies though. My Grimace Hello Kitty would be so lonely!

I am soooo going to collect all 4 for a complete family in melicacy’s Hello Kitty land.

Why do I love Grimace Hello Kitty so much?

“Let me take off my hoodie.”

:))))))

Each McDonaldland Hello Kitty plush toy is available at $3.60 each with purchase of an Extra Value Meal (EVM).

Alternatively, customers can also purchase the toys separately at $9.

Grab yours before they run out of stock!

Thanks McDonald’s and Omy.sg for the invite.
