Clarke Quay Central – a five-story shopping mall managed by Far East Organization that sits on the banks of the historical riverside quay in Singapore – houses SQUE Rotisserie & Alehouse. Bestowing upon diners a scenic view (think: river cruises rhythmically drifting along the Singapore river), with occasional encounters of screams from the G-MAX reverse bungee, the restaurant serves up hearty meals, tempting bar bites, and an extensive selection of bottled beers from around the world.

Shrimp and Pomelo Salad ($16.00)
The health conscious will feel entirely at ease with either the Tomato Mozzarella Salad or the Asian-flavoured Shrimp and Pomelo Salad –a light-hearted toss of crisp greens and fresh Norwegian shrimps, drizzled with lively Asian Vinaigrette.
Prawn Paste Wings ($9.50)
The range of International bottled beer will pair well with options from the new “Bar Bites” section, which include the succulent and crispy Prawn Paste Wings, the juicy bite-sized Cube Striploin, Meatballs in Tomato Sauce, Cheese Toast and the more sinful crispy Chicken Crackling.
SQUE Pork Knuckle ($32.00)
Adventurous patrons can attempt the crispy SQUE Pork Knuckle, dished with pickled vegetables, crispy onion and Asian dip. Dissimilar to the crispy deep-fried German pork knuckles, this well-caramelised version is tenderly juicy and hearty, bound to gratify meat cravings with just a bite.
Rotisserie Spring Chicken with a choice of Honey Mustard or Black Pepper ($19.00)
The Roasted Spring Chicken set atop caramelised onion, French bean, cauliflower and bacon mash is another popular choice. The glossy sheen of the succulent roast is a dazzling sight. The meat, rubbed in its marinade, rewards with a rich and appealing taste. Hungry carnivores can also consider the fork-tender braised Lamb Shank, tantalising Steak-Frites or the Sausage Sampler made with spicy chicken sausage, Nuernberger Bratwursts and Merguez.
St. Louis Pork Ribs ($26.00)
BBQ pork ribs, caramelised onion, cauliflower and thick-cut potato fries makes up the St. Louis Pork Ribs. Sudden cravings for ribs can be satisfied here at SQUE with meat so fall-off-the-bones tender and saliva-inducingly smoky.
Complete the feast with the modest Profiteroles –vanilla ice cream sandwiched between Choux puffs and dripped with luscious chocolate sauce. The chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice cream and SQUE’s legacy favourite Tiramisu are also part of the dessert options.
Lemony cream cheese set on a crumbly base, paired with an icy citrus sorbet, perks up the senses. It’s a great way to reset the taste buds and feel revitalised from any signs of after-meal lethargy.
Thatchers Somerset Rose Cider (alc 5.4%)
Wind down after a hectic day at work with the refreshingly light and fruity British cider, made using the rosiest apples at the Thatchers family farm in Somerset.
