Tiger Beer unleashes patriotic red and white livery this National Day

In commemoration of Singapore’s 49th birthday, Tiger Beer unleashes a patriotic livery encompassing the colours of our national flag. The limited edition 330ml cans, retailing at $25.60 for a pack of 10, are stripped off the iconic blue tone and donned a vivacious red and white colour scheme.

Having re-skinned its livery to a proud red and white, Tiger Beer hands it over to Singaporeans to unleash their pride for the nation and encourages them to step out of being a closeted patriot. From 1 August 2014, Tiger Beer will be kick-starting a crowd-sourced movement to get Singaporeans to participate in 49 acts of pride over a period of seven days, till 7 August 2014. To participate, fans can visit Tiger Beer’s Facebook page () and follow the instructions to complete the acts of pride ranging from posting pictures of their favourite local dishes, pairing Tiger Beer’s limited-edition cans with Singapore’s iconic landmarks, and even uploading videos of themselves shouting out their pride in the most creative ways. On completing each act, fans are to submit their photos with the #UNCAGE hashtag, and featured acts may just win an invitation to Tiger Beer’s exclusive National Day bash on 9th August.

Running parallel to these 49 acts, Tiger is looking at courageous candidates who are game to dye their hair red or get a Singapore-inspired tattoo themselves, in tribute to their country. These brave acts will be taking place on 1st and 7th August respectively: 1 August 2014, Friday, 5pm-9pm at TBB Tiong Bahru Bar (3 Seng Poh Road, Singapore 168891) with Tiger Beer, HOT FM 91.3’s DJ Charmaine and Toni&Guy; and 7 August 2014, Thursday, 5pm-9pm at TBB Tiong Bahru Bar with Tiger Beer and the crew from Vagabond Ink.
